Scrappy's Top Twenty

I have selected my top twenty layouts from the retreat. I love the layout above that Gay made. It has great photos. Good use of colors. Patterned paper cut with scallop edge trimmer. Punched flowers and a sticker "Party" embellishment. The "V" was just the finishing touch. Remember, it doesn't take a lot of things to make a great layout, just the right amount.

The Madison layout Helen did id very simple. One sheet of polka-dot paper, one sheet of white. Cricut cut title and punched flowers with a simple tag embellishment.

This layout if really simple. Helen has learned less is better. She just trimmed the wording from some patterned paper and the simple grey dot paper is just right. A few pink brackets and pearls and a couple of flowers finish it off. Beautiful!

Pam did a wonderful job on this. She scraplifted one she saw at Gigi's. Love the colors. Note the strips of patterned paper. These could just be from the scrap bin. Lovely!
Gay cleverly cut the words from patterned paper to use on her layout. I love the pink and green combination. The banner-look was achieved simply by cutting strips and punching the ends with a square punch. Too cute!

Evelyn used cute monkey/jungle print paper from a great stack for this layout! The colors are wonderful. Simple use of patterned papers and solid background and mats. Wonderful!

Everyone liked this one, not just me! It is mine. I used a patterned paper background with simple cardstock cuts using different paper punches. Chipboard letters were inked. Stamped title on tag."You are my sunshine."

This is just the best!! The photo is just amazing.  Pam selected a great patterned paper bracket shaped paper and embossed green paper background. A few pink flowers finished it off. The only thing I might add is perhaps the year. We talked about Mr and Mrs.  or maybe Here Comes Mr and Mrs.

I think this year I will be using a lot of orange. It IS the Pantone Color of the year, actually it's  Tangerine Tango. See it here Love it!! This is mine and the orange and blue are great. I love the color strips. I used that same punch technique . Raw chipboard letters and a few buttons. Simple, but cute!

Another one of Gay's layouts. The wooden flowers are the finishing touch.
The Cricut cut title is perfect. I just love brown and pink together.

Great layout by Evelyn. Love the use of small bits of patterned paper. The actual button on the page is great. Love that Memorabilia.

Edith's cute page about the pins at Disney. Simlle but cute.
Sticker Mickey and Cricut cut title.

Evelyn's page of Madison's Audition. This is how you do an 8 x 10 photo. Simple with a title. Patterned paper colors are great with the photo. Awesome!

Evelyn's cute layout using a pumpkin that Madison made in school. Halloween patterned paper background, great!

This is Gay's great summer at the Lake layout. Notice she did not mat photos. Not needed. Tags were punched and she wrote the date, added buttons!

Here is my pink and brown layout. it is okay to use pink on boy pages, just ask Helen!

Pam's layout was a kit we found at JoAnn's. Love the glitter paper and pearls she added! Gorgeous!

Edith's great layout of the Disney friends.

Helen picked up scraps, dug through the Cricut cuts and came up with the cute 2 pager!!
Pam and I dug through the paper scrap box before we left home and came up with the patterned paper strips on this page. It is gorgeous!
Edith's Bad Hair day is great! Four photos, patterned paper, Cricut title.
