Master Chef prepared us a yummy meal!!

Pam prepared us a delicious Talipia dinner with a delish salsa topping, scrumptious green beans and salad!
This was one of several delicious meals we had on our trip. Edith brought homemade
chili and Pam brought Gumbo. Helen brought grilled chicken and we just had some wonderful meals.

And... here we are scrappin' again. Some night 'til 1:00 am!!!

Yes, we shopped and we DID scrapbook!!

I wish I had a picture of Pam, Helen and I digging through the boxes trying to find these pots in Old Time Pottery!! It was a blast. We all had a certain color  and shape in mind so we had to dig!!

This was Scrappy's find at Tuesday Morning. It is a scrap tote filled with clear stamps, chipboard letters and rubons all for $19.00!! We saw it at the scrapbook store for $49 and I saw on today at Target for $27.49!! Such a deal!! Speaking of Tuesday Morning their sale paper today was full of Scrapping storage and albums starting next week.

Of course you know whose page this is. Helen was very productive,
made over 15 pages!! I lost count!!

Pam's page of Mexico

Scrappy's pages of her family pets

Hope you enjoy. I will be posting more updates of our outing!!

Retreat 2010 highlights for those who missed it!!

After having driven in fog and rain we finally arrived at our exquisite accommodations! The condo was just awesome and perfect for all of us. We each got our own bed, and General Scrappy was honored with her own personal King sized bed and private bath!!After getting thing unpacked and set up for scrapping we kicked off the weekend with a Pear juice and Champagne toast! Delish!

Scrappy was a little upset after unpacking to discover she had forgotten the
power cord for the Cricut!!
But it all worked fine without it. Our pages are even more creative!!

Here's Helen scrappin'. She was very productive and got 15 pages done.
So, for those of you who think we just goofed off, think again!!

Our first stop the next day was to check out Gigi's scrapbook store, after all that was how we got into this!!(The picture above is actually on our second stop at the store. Notice the wind!!)
The store was awesome. Decorated so cute and had great things we had never seen!!

This one was made on our first day which was beautiful and sunny!!

We then went to check out the actual Gigi's Scrapbooking Retreat. We were able to
shop the vendors and do a make and take with Close to my Heart.
We all decided we made the right decision to do our own thing!

Oh and by the way this was the view on Friday. It was a beautiful day.
Now I can get through January and February!!

Here's Edith and Martha without whom none of this would have been possible. Thank you so much Martha. You are great and we are all happy to have a new friend!! Thank you so much!!

Mom is Mobile!! Yeah

Mom is so happy, she now has wheels. She is going all over the place. My brother came and made her picture yesterday. She is a mess. I am really proud of her for not getting discouraged. She has great friends who come all the time to visit and she stays on the phone a lot. This has really helped.

I was talking to her on the phone when my brother came in and made her picture.
