Flower Chipboard Book

Thanks to a very creative person on the Cricut blog I got the cut files to cut the paper for the flower chipboard books from Michael's. The very talented person is Diane from her blog Capadia Designs. I am showing you just how she displayed it on her site, so I can't really take any credit, but it is great.

I used those my Mind's Eye paper pads and cardstock. The file had flowers in all sizes. I cut some smaller ones to fit in the centers of some of them. Got the Cricut fired up and cut and cut and cut!! Wow! Easy, and they fit perfectly!! No triming.

These are the cardstock papers I cut for one side of the pages. Also the
flowers that fit inside.
All clipped together ready to glue. Think I'll try that UHU liquid I got. This is how the center flower looks on a patterned page. Cute!1 I'll show them to you in class. We'll have to ake some. I have several. Also on the blog someone told that there were butterflies, cars, and a house book . So, I may get the cutfiles for these!!

New (old) Shelf

I found this shelf at my mom's. It is great. Just like the Making Memories one's for $60. I cleaned it up, took off the doors and painted it. Now to get it filled with all my goodies. It does help to have things out and visible.
I have some messy piles of stuff in the scraproom. I am really trying to get things where we can find them. So bear with me. I am also working on the bulletin board I had to take down to put up the shelf. I am going to make it the Dollar General where I will hang cute things each week that would add great touches to your pages. So watch for it!!

New Toy

Betsy gave me a Hobby Lobby gift card for Christmas. I carefully researched and decided I wanted the Bind-it-All book binding machine. I also discovered there was a new improved pink version but HL did not have one , only the older model. I stopped and spoke with the girl I know who works in scrapbook section. She said she would order one for me. So, it worked out they had a 40% off coupon this week and when I stopped to get it she had saved it in the back for me!!
Now we can make some cute scrapbooks, journals and lots of fun things.
The binding is great for adding lots of ribbons!!

This is the book I cut the chipboard and paper with the Cricut.
Here's how the finished binding looks. I used the 1 inch. I was not sure exactly what size I needed. I think it will be okay to be able to add some embellishments and lots of ribbons.

Scrap Therapy Session

Once again Judy got a private lesson. Almost private
the kitties were watching closely.

We added a brown scalloped border around Judy's page.

We used the inside from the scalloped border and some cute chipboard borders for this page. We added ribbon through the holes, added buttons and added rubons. Our cute journaling we found in that Quote and Title book I love.
We put rubons on the pink paper above and printed the journaling over it.

Details below of the ribbon accents.

Welcome to Our World Baby Girl. We added a scripture from
Psalm 139 to our pages.

Chipboard Album Cut on Cricut

I downloaded this cut file for the Cricut off the internet. I got it from a very talented person, Carla at Scrapped Lives. I cut all pages. Below pages cut from cardstock to wallpaper the pages. I may just ink some, but cut them anyway. The biggest thing is having a really sticky mat. The chipboard will cut if secured on the mat.
