Scrappin' Divas -- Look what we did!!

Mina got on Pam's purse and went to sleep during class this week. Sweet ! Here she was asleep.
Pam's page of the girl's weekend. They loved Wicked in Birmingham.
Janet is making an album for her little triplett friends. She will make three of each page!! Cute. we found some great paper in the Laundry Line by My Mind's Eye.
This was Pam's other Prom page she finished up. I love the title we cut from Glitter paper. It really cuts great. She cut the glittery ornaments from some patterned paper. Love it!!

Scrap Therapy Session Today

We had a great class today. Pam came and subbed for Jenna and everyone else was there. We made lots of cute pages. I didn't get a photo of Lacey's and another one Judy did.

This was Pam's graduation. Made me want to do mine. We cut the USM from

Gold vellum using the Cricut!!
Dianne's pages reminded me of OP art from the 60's . Read mor in wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Op_Art

Playin' in the Scrap Room again!

Bet you don't know what this is? It is my latest scrapbooking tool and
I did not get it at Michael's, Hobby Lobby or online. Can you guess?

It is a Pasta Making Machine!!! To make homemade spaghetti and noodles, etc. Since I really don't cook and have no idea how to make those things, I'm using mine for scrappin'.

Hint , it has something to do with these Cuttlebug embossing folders.

I ran chipboard and cardstock through the PASTA mchine and it does great embossing. I believe it wouid even die-cut. It also has an attachment to cut the pasta that will cut paper into strips. I'm sure there are more things it will do, I'll just keep playing. Below is a piece I ran on the herringbone, then ran an ink pad over the top. Neat!!
This is the title I cut for Donna's Ballet page. I just love it. I used the Calligraphy Collection.

In a weak moment last weekend I purchased two more Cricut cartridges. The site http://www.ohmycrafts.com/ kept lowering the prices and offering all sorts of discounts, so I ordered. They came today. They are Doodlecharms and Going Places. I usually buy font carts but these are shape cartridges and have lots of cute things. If you want to see what it they cut go to www.Cricut.com and look at the cartridge samples.
I haven't cut anything yet, but I'm sure I'll break them in soon!!

Croppin' with Class

We had a good class tonight. Donna was working on pages of her neice's ballet. Great photos. We wanted to do something special, so I made this text around the pictures. I copied ballet words from a website and used The Print Shop to put them around like a frame. It is going to be great! watch for the finished product!
Julie was so proud of her handsome son's Prom pictures. She made this great page and is going to complete the two page spread next time. I love the BLING!! Lots of glitter, even tho you can't see it.

Ginger finished this layout of Conner's days at All Saints. She didn't have many photos so we made big titles. We need something else on that right page, tho.

Helen came up with this on her own. The Monopoly paper was so cute.

A Scrappy Birthday !

Our new scrappin' group came to celebrate Scrappy's birthday. Helen brought a cake and we scrapped and scrapped.

Helen wanted to call their group "Scrappin' Divas." We thought that would be fine since there is no longer a Scrappin' Divas store. So from now on they will be known as Scrappin' Divas.

That gives us our three groups of Scrappers:

  • Croppin' with Class (the original)- meet 2nd & 4th Wed

  • Scrap Therapy Session -meet 2nd & 4th Tues,maybe more often

  • Scrappin' Divas- meet 1st and 3rd Wed
